Welcome to our community.

Our mission is to help as many parents, grandparents, children and family members as possible traverse the incredibly challenging terrain of parental alienation, estrangement, erasure and disconnection.

The mission of our virtual art gallery is to educate people about these challenges facing so many families. By gathering our worldwide community in one place to express all forms of alienation, estrangement, erasure and disconnection through artistic expression. We will bring this epidemic into the light. We will make it accessible, emotionally provocative and understandable through art, and thereby move people into action.

"I was lost, lonely and hopeless. Expressing my struggle through painting has given me an outlet for so many of my feelings. Thank you, "The Family Hope Project", for giving me a platform to share all these feelings. I love that we, as a community, can do something that is impossible for me as an individual to do. I feel empowered through my art, and hopeful that maybe this will change the trajectory of one persons struggle somewhere."

"I don't do art! That was my initial thought when I first learned about this advocacy project. Then something changed. I had just left the court and was sitting, getting a coffee. I drew a picture of a boat taking on water to represent how hopeless I felt in the family court system. I guess I do have something to say. Thank you for creating a platform for advocacy, but more importantly for cathartic healing through art."

"Let go….."

"Peace and serenity attained through the enlightenment of the program. My higher power is good and I radiate love and positivity to the collective consciousness of the Universe for my son to receive and one day return to my open arms. I am healthy. I am happy. I am at peace."

"Hearth"

What this art represents to me (anonymous) on my journey fighting parental alienation estrangement & erasure? This painting is called "Hearth". Notice how the fire isn't lit. Just temporary and short lived gestures of light and heat for now....

"Blue"

"I allow myself to feel my feelings. Missing my son is always there but I don’t allow myself to ruminate and feel unworthy. Feel it, allow it, process it and move on is my new mantra. I do not take the behavior of others, personally. I didn’t cause it. I can’t control it. I can’t cure it. Steps 1,2 & 3."

-Anonymous Parent

"Working towards peace"

"Being creative is a big part of my healing journey. The physical act of coloring soothes my nervous system. Using my creative energy gives me energy for other things in my life. Coloring this particular mandala, taking my time and using layers and shades, reminds me that recovery is a step-by-step process, which cannot be hurried."

-Anonymous estranged Mom of 2 boys

"You are the Key"

I spent years walking on trails to remember I am.
I found my nature within was wild and free
I learned to love the quiet
I learned that nature nurtures
I learned to be free.
